Muhyiddin Shakoor was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After having worked as a family therapist and professor of Counselor Education at the State University of New York for more than thirty years, he retired in 2006 ad devoted his time to humanitarian projects, writing and seeing the world. Last Rose of Summer is his first novel and fourth book. He now lives between the U.S. and Turkey.
